Since When Did Kelly Become a Real Estate Mogul?

Douglas Elliman employs half of Bravo at this point.

Since when did Kelly Bensimon become a real estate mogul? If you’re watching Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy, you will have heard her modestly discuss her new venture. Her Instagram presence is a continuation of that lady-like restraint:

And how did she become a 'Real Estate Mogul’? Take it from Kelly: “Success comes from knowledge about brand cognition.” Wait, what?

But maybe she is onto something; she did get named ‘Rookie of the Year’ at Douglas Elliman.

Does that name sound familiar to you? Douglas Elliman is the same home agency for many reality TV stars, including Kendra Wilkinson, a bunch of people from Million Dollar Listing, and, up until recently, Ramona ‘I Have 50 Girlfriends’ Singer.

I guess they had to scratch Ramona’s name off of the plaque after she dropped the N-bomb around crew members during the production of season 13, and Elliman subsequently canned her in November.

This sounds a lot like the ‘non-attorney partner grift’ Joe Gorga is working on with the trustworthy-sounding law firm 10xlaw.com. Don’t get me wrong, I am sure Kelly, Kendra, and the like actually sell the houses, but I am also sure that ten years from now, this career change will be gone the way of Sonja’s toaster oven into the graveyard of Housewives’ business ideas.
